Martin Setchell - Ausgewählte Orgelwerke
Martin Setchell wurde 1949 in Blackpool (England) geboren) und wirkte 40 Jahre
als Orgelprofessor an der Canterbury School of Music.
Als interantionaler Konzertorganist ist es ihm ein Anliegen,
die Orgel als Instrument einem breiten Publikum zugänglich zu machen.
Auch seine Orgelwerke erfreuen sich durch ihre tonale Stilistik und
den moderaten Schwierigkeitsgrad großer Beliebtheit.
Dieser Band beinhaltet großteils festliche, teilweise auch meditative
Orgelstücke, die sich sowohl für den Gottesdienst, als auch
den konzertanten Einsatz gut eignen, darunter auch viele Kompositionen
für Weihnachten, Ostern, sowie choralgebundene Stücke über Amazing Grace,
